Letters on Intent

Dear Belly and Maternity Clothes,

I am so thankful that I have maternity clothes to wear and I do not have to spend my days in a MooMoo, but could you seriously fit better. I put on a size large maternity pants and they fit fine then the next pair does not fit at all. I am running out of clothes that comfortably fit. Also could my belly stop growing over night; I wear some thing one week the next it is to tight to wear in public. I know that all of this means I am growing a health (probably big) baby but seriously I am afraid if my clothes do not stretch or my belly does not stop I will have to stay home for lack of proper body coverage.

Thankful Thursday

This week I have been reminded how blessed I

am to have 2 health kids, and 1 healthy almost full term little girl on the way. I am also so blessed to have a health husband, and a relationship to go with it. So that it what I am thankful for today, I am also thankful for the reminder of what a blessing my family is. I am also thankful for the reminder that God has a plan for each and every life and that He knows the hairs on our head and only He counts are days - I am thankful that I have gotten to spend the days I have with this little familia.

"Thank you Lord for bringing every single one of them into my life, I am even thankful for the challenges and the hard times. Please forgive me for the times I take them for granted. Thank you that have a plan for each one of us and that the plan involves us being a family."

Thankful Thursday on Friday

(Let me tell you that grocery shopping at Wal-Mart and City Market can really take it out of this prego. I am convenced it was mostly Wal-Mart) So what I am thankful for this week...

... conversations with the hubby (Matt) - they are the best.

... a little princess (Anna) that has people in her life that love to spoil her and treat her special.

... a little super hero (Benen) that wants to help all the time and loves being with his sister.

... that in 10 (or less) very short weeks I get to meet this little girl growing inside me.

... for FLYlady - my house has been clean and the laundry caught up for 2 weeks now and it is not overwhelming me.

... a group of ladies to go listen to Beth Moore with tomorrow.

... the creative youth group that decided to do a family fundraiser tonight and celebrate 50's style.

... that my kids love to learn about Jesus and they get excited to go to riverKIDS on Sunday mornings.

... children worshipping - there is nothing like hearing kids sing Jesus Loves Me; especially when it is your kids singing it.

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for...

... the warmer weather; we all went to the park for lunch and it was fabulous.

... sleep; I so love bed time and nap time.

... my very creative independent daughter.

... my snuggly little boy.

... the life growing inside - even though I am getting more and more uncomfortable, but I am also getting closer and closer to getting to hold this little soccer player.

... friends that are willing to share maternity and kids clothes.

... friends that bless us with dinner unexpectedly.

... Matt getting to feel Somer kick last night.

... Matt; and the man that God created him to be - he is perfect for me.

... homeschooling.

Dairy of a Pregnant Lady

Last night my loving husband had some good thoughts for me about pregnancy.

I am really getting uncomfortable... I know I have like 4 months to go; but I was I little whinny about it last night. Matt had a good thought and I keep saying it to myself. If you do not get uncomfortable you would not be ready for the baby to come out - so true. If I was comfortable and could move about like I was not pregnant I might not care if the baby ever came out.

He also said that I was getting to the "fun" stage of pregnancy; not completely sure what he meant - not sure I want to full understand that - but it made me laugh.

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for...

... the sun and that it is warming up a bit.

... figuring out how to get Benen to nap.

... friends who do not mind giving us rides.

... my talented and creative husband.

... Monday night when my husband let me go to bed at 7:30 - I so needed that.

... my creative daughter; it was really fun to listen to hear imagination this morning.

... my snuggly son; he just loves to "hug you" - then runs to the couch so you can snuggle.

... water - I am really thirsty lately and it does the job.

... how sore and tired I am - that means it is getting closer and closer to this baby coming and that she is getting bigger and bigger.

... my husbands job and that it provides enough that I can stay home.

Today I am thankful for a number of things...

... that my husband found and made a big deal about getting running boards for our Attack Vehicle; it is getting harder to get in it.

... my belly going away; because that means this little one on the inside is getting bigger.

... sleep; enough said.

... friends.

... my kids.

... sun shine.

... a clean house; and for my husbands help to get it so clean.

... Anna's ability to clean so good - she cleans the bathroom counter everyday and she does a really good job.

... family.

... a really nice big Public Library.

Baby Girl to Arrive in July

We had our ultrasound today and we are having a girl. Here are some of the ultrasound pictures for those of you that can read them. Her name is Somer Joy; meaning summer joy.

After the ultrasound Matt and I were walking down the hall and he was really quiet, I asked if he was okay. He said yes " I am just falling in love." I said with our baby; and he is:) I know we both are. It just seems more real and like we are actually going to have this baby now that she has a name and we have seen her.

Today I am thankful for...

... snow (mostly because we really do not have to shovel it and it is really peaceful outside right now).

... Matt getting his birthday (yesterday) off.

... motivation (my house is clean all at once in I can remember how long).

... good books.

... bubble baths.

... coffee.

... dr. pepper.

... a mom that taught me how to cook; and that I can still call when I have cooking questions.

... my very creative daughter.

... my funny always smiling son.

... to be almost 17 week pregnant.

Today I am thankful for....

... my body (honestly that is hard for me to say right now, as it is beginning to be over taken by this baby; but I am thankful that I have a body that is capable of caring a baby).

... child like joy (the kids and I went birthday shopping for Daddy today and it was really fun and funny to watch them pick out presents, pay for them with their allowance, and then wrapping them).

... that Matt turns 28 next week.

... the comfort of owning 2 vehicles, and the fact that we can both drive to do things and we do not have to plan around each other.

... government tax breaks and credits (although I do not really understand the reasoning behind some of them, I will take the extra money if they are going to give it to me).

... friends.

... ice cream.

... naps.

... a really comfy bed.

... good books.

Confession

So I have not posted in a while... confession... there is a reason for that. Last week we found out that I am pregnant and wanted to wait a little while before we told people. I get really excited about things and did not want to give it away until it was time so it was just easier to not post. Sorry but that is the confession, that and I have been really really tired and it has taken every once of energy I have to get homeschooling done and what house cleaning I have done; just could not keep my eyes open long enough to type. I go the Midwives next week, and get checked out along with all the specifics, right now they think I am around 11 weeks and due the middle of May. Trust me the blogging world will be updated.
