My Man Rocks

My Man Rocks because he looked at me - totally exhausted and sick last week - and said I should go to bed at 8 every night. He knows a need more sleep then most people and when I am pregnant it is even worse. He has been letting me go to bed and he has actually been doing the dishes or some house work to help me out. You rock baby and I love you lots - not because you do house work, but because you are a prefect match for me and a wonderful gift form God.

Thankful Thursday - Thanksgiving

Today I am thankful...
... that my daughter can swallow, even if she is making swallowing noises in my ear and it is annoying... at least she can swallow.
... that we get to spend today with family.
... for food on the table and in the fridge.
... for water... it hits the spot every time.
... for my awesome husband.
... for my little healthy boy.
... that Anna likes to be around me.
... for an early bed time and a husband that understands my need for it.
... for blogs to write out share things with people.
... for Thanksgiving.

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful that I had to wait in line to check out at City Market. The guy in front of me was buying 20 turkeys to give away to people that needed them. He was not sure who he was going to give them to but he wanted to buy them and give them away to needy people because he had been in that place before. I am thankful that he had to check them out 2 at a time so he could get a better deal and get more turkeys. I am thankful for the example it was to me and my kids. I have no idea who this man was but he has encouraged me today. What are you thankful for?

Please Pray

I am not really sure were to begin this post... but I know that God gives us opportunities in life and this is one of those that I can not let go by. If you want more details you can read them on Tara's blog: Fleener Family
I am asking all of you to please pray for some friends form high school, Tara and Isaac Fleener and their little boy Gage. Gage is 3 months old and on Thursday he was found with a blanket over his head during nap, suffocating. They were able to revive him, but he has not had in brain response sense and it looks like they will have to make a very hard decision tomorrow, depending on what his brain show them. I could not even imagine being in that place, but I know that they are clinging to God and his will for their and Gage's life. Please pray for them... and if you want read her blog.

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful that God gave me the energy to get some things done. I am thankful that we started to get caught up on school work, and got one floor of our 3 floor house clean. I am thankful that the reason that I am behind and have no energy is a little life growing in me. I am thankful that my husband understand I can not get everything done right now and does not come home complaining about the house. I am thankful for the cloudy weather... I would actually be okay if it snowed.

Veterans Day Parade

Today we went to the Veterans Day Parade in Durango. It was a good way to honor our Veterans and for the kids to experience some history.

Anna and Benen cheering on Vets.

Waiting for the Parade to start.

Catching Up

The window repair guy is here fixing our living room window and taking up my favorite nap spot so I am catching up on some blogging... should be catching up on house work but I have my priorities. A few weeks ago it snowed enough the kids could actually play in it. Here are some picture of the fun.

Anna made snow angels first thing.

Benen all dressed for the snow.

The cutest kids in their snow gear.

Baby Lee Update

So I had my first OB appointment yesterday at the Midwives, and it went good. In talking we decided to do an ultrasound today because she was not sure I was as far along as we thought and my body has an abnormal cycle so it was possible.

Had the ultrasound and everything looks good. I got to see Wee Lee's heart beat, and I am only 5 weeks (almost 6 weeks) this puts my due date as July 3rd.

The thing that I am having a hard time grasping is that with Anna I had to have a blood test at 5 weeks to find out if I was pregnant, then with Benen I was 23 weeks before I had a positive home pregnancy test, but with this one I found out (with a home test) before I technically missed a period... CRAZY - but okay I will be thankful for the body I have.
