... God and how complex He is.

Wordless Wednesday - Somer is 4 weeks old

Baby Somer is 4 weeks old today, but first Big Brother can not resist a photo op (did the ears on his own).

My Man Rocks

My Man Rocks because he willing "parents" so I can go to things like Bridal Showers. He never complains and he does a really good job taking care of the kids - feeding, entertaining, bathing, and even putting to bed. You rock babe.

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for...

...a 3 week old little lady that is so easy going.

..Grandparents that back me up in disciplining.

...the brain on my 6 year old (although we need to figure out how to harness it and us it for good not for evil.)

... friends to still discipline and parenting ideas form.

...my little man; that is becoming more a man every day.

...a husband that is not just a bystander in life he lives it with me - he is truly a partner not a roommate.

...family.

...coffee.

...Dr. Pepper (and that it comes in a diet form).

...my sister that I miss right now - but get to see in 3 weeks.

...my brothers surgery going well, and the doctors being hopeful that he will recover quickly.

Wordless Wednesday - How He Loves Us

My Man Rocks - 7 years

My Man Rocks because 7 years ago today he made a commitment to love and live life with me, and never once have a question that commitment in 7 years - he has stuck with me in the good the bad and the ugly. I love him more now then I did 7 years ago and I am excited for that love to grow even more in the next 7 years.

Wordless Wednesday - the Last Few Weekends

Last weekend we went "jeeping" up Smelter - it over looks Durango.

On the 3rd of July Bayfield had there 4th of July celebration - complete with parade and fireworks. Then we enjoyed Durango's 4th of July parade (Matt, Anna, and Benen all walked in the riverKIDS float) and after words we headed out to Vallecito to enjoy their fireworks.

... church family that is bring us meals - they are awesome and so helpful.

... Somer figuring out a pretty good routine and has already dropped one night feeding.

... an amazing husband that is willing to take a week off to be at home and that is so helpful around the house.

... Matt fixing the power sterring on the Burban.

... God providing finances for our Burban and giving Matt mechanical knowledge so he can fix our cars.

... my family - my parents and siblings - they are a blessing in my life.
