Christmas Season
So we have been busy this Chirstmas Season here is what we have been up to (if you want a better veiw of the collages just click on them and they enlarge)...
The kids did a Christmas Family program at church. Anna had a speeking part, and was super excited about it.
We made cookies with Auntie Toots (new tradition that the kids love). Anna was all about the ginger bread cut outs, and Benen helped with the wreaths and did a very good job with the candies on them.

Thankful Thursday
Today is Thursday this week at times has gone slow and then fast... weird, but either way it is still Thursday so time to remember what I am Thankful for. Today I am thankful for...
... groceries.
... kids.
... a husband that helps around the house when asked.
... family.
... naps - after grocery shopping I am completely worn out.
... heaters - I do not have to worry about being cold at night.
... that pregnancies give you 9 months to adjust to what life is going to be like with a new kid.
... laundry to wash.
... God's promises and getting to see them answered.
... cold fresh water that I can just drink, I do not have to worry about sanitizing it I can just go over to the sink at get a glass.

Snow and My Man Rocks
Last week we had a major snow storm. The kids - of course - went out side and played. I would also like to share why My Man Rocks today... because he loves to shovel and play in the snow so I do not have to worry about shoveling our little walk way or shoveling out the cars, it is great.

Thankful Thursday
To be honest I am cranky and do not really feel like doing this, but I need the change of attitude so here goes.
I am thankful for...
... Christmas.
... Christmas Trees - they are so pretty.
... a break from home schooling today for a Christmas Tea Party.
... other home schooling families to hang out with.
... a Blue Grass Christmas Concert tonight complete with the Bar D Wranglers - and it is free.
... snow.
... my kids creativity.
... food in and fridge and the cupboards.
... Christmas Carols.
... a warm house to snuggle up in on cold cold nights.

2009 Christmas Tree
So this is the second year we have cut down our own tree, and it has turned into a fun family tradition that we all enjoy.

My Man Rocks
My Man Rocks because he is like a kid in a candy store when it comes to our Christmas Tree and Lights. It fun to watch him grin and get excited when we find the "Perfect One" and while he is putting lights on it. It makes putting up the Christmas Decorations a fun family affair.
